MTS Fortuna launched in China
A new milestone in our newbuild project

MTS Fortuna has been launched into the water at the shipyard in China. We expect the barge to arrive in the Netherlands this September for final outfitting.
What makes this barge so special is that it will be one of the most sustainable additions to our fleet, due to the HVO-electric (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) propulsion system. On top of that, MTS Fortuna is equipped with a hydrodynamically optimised stern, designed to ensure that the waterflow of the rear is as efficient as possible, reducing resistance and therefore reducing fuel consumption.
Meanwhile her sister barge, MTS Felicitas, was right next to the launch site, still under full construction. We hope to share more good news on her progress very soon.
