MTS Fortuna being built on a shipyard in China

We are taking you behind the scenes at the shipyard in China, where our newest barge is currently under construction.
This bunkering barge, named MTS Fortuna, will be equipped with a tailor-made bunker crane and is set to become one of the largest barges in our fleet, with a capacity of 9000 m3. Together with her sister vessel, MTS Felicitas, the barges are expected to arrive in summer for final outfitting.
Since 2004, AMS Barging has developed innovative propulsion solutions for its vessels. For MTS Fortuna and MTS Felicitas, we’re applying over 20 years of experience and knowledge to the design. This includes diesel-electric propulsion and Z-drives to optimize fuel efficiency. They will also be equipped with a double line cargo system, 2 MFM’s, coated cargo tanks and an N2 generator, making them ready for adaptation to the methanol bunkering market.
