Every year, September is focused on the Inland Shipping Days (Binnenvaartdagen) in Zwijndrecht, close to the AMS Barging headquarters. This year, we were present in an unconventional way: in the air!
While everybody walked around through the event area in the city, AMS Barging went another way. With an airplane and a flying banner saying ‘binnenvaartwerk.nl‘, people were able to spot us above the water.
This event is known for welcoming young visitors who are interested in the world of inland shipping. Therefore, they might be interested in working in this industry. By searching the URL on the banner, people could access our other website, where you can find vacancies on board, as a sailor, helmsman or captain. An easy way to apply for a spot in the crew of AMS Barging!
